Property Wizards has been awarded Buyer’s Agent of the Year 2019 at the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA) annual Awards for Excellence.
Taking out the top honour in their industry, managing director Liz Sterzel said she was honoured to be recognized by the state’s peak industry body.
“We are thrilled to be acknowledged for the work we’re doing at Property Wizards for our buyer clients,” she said.
“We believe our recipe for success is that we put the buyer’s interests first and continually adapt our buying strategies to the changing property market. This helps our clients tremendously, where they tread a fine line between missing out on a great property and making a disastrous mistake.
“It’s also extremely rewarding to see that increasing numbers of investors and home buyers are recognizing the benefits of having a professional to track down the best properties in this market and give them independent advice.”
The Awards for Excellence were presented at a gala dinner held at Crown Perth on Thursday night, attended by the cream of the real estate industry in Western Australia.
Considered by REIWA to be the highest accolades the Institute can bestow, these awards recognise those industry leaders who go above and beyond for their clients, demonstrate excellence and are experts in their industry.
In presenting the buyer’s agent award, REIWA particularly acknowledged Property Wizards for professionalism, integrity and working in the best interests of clients.
Ms Sterzel said the industry has faced challenging times for both agents and property owners.
“This year has been a financially tough time in the market, so we were determined to go over and above for our clients, who showed real foresight and purpose buying in a soft market, and that has paid off for all of us.
“We’d like to extend a big thank you to all our amazing clients who have entrusted us to find them great properties and help reach their goals.
“The market appears to be at a turning point, and the green shoots we’re seeing now are encouraging, so we are firmly focused on continuing our recipe for success and strategies to deliver the best results.”
Ms Sterzel will now represent Western Australia in the Real Estate Institute of Australia national awards in 2020 to be held in Darwin.
